Q: How did you come to the Grip Weeds?

KRISTIN: I met the Grip Weeds at a Smithereens show at Kenny's Castaways in NYC. Having similar musical interests and alot of mutual friends in the NY music scene we became friends and fans of each other’s music. The band was making plans to record their first album (House of Vibes) and I offered to help if they needed it. They wanted a little harder edge rock sound so they took me up on the offer and here I am still!

Q: What was your most memorable Grip Weeds experience and why?

KRISTIN: Playing the Cavern Club in Liverpool...it was like going to musical Mecca for a Beatles fan.

Q: What are your musical influences, favorite artist and bands?

KRISTIN: George Harrison, Brian May, Paul Weller, David Gilmour, Matthew Sweet, and of course Jimmy Page, whose combination of melody and power has always inspired me.

Q: What is your favorite GOTB track and why?

KRISTIN: "Midnight Sun." It grooves, it's psychedelic and powerful and I LOVE Kurt's vocal.

Q: If the Genie granted you three wishes, what would they be and why?

KRISTIN: Health, Happiness and Peace of Mind...because I could use some help holding on to them.
